Instagram and TikTok sometimes block the app from reading a post's details. When that happens, Grub falls back to a manual search screen — just type the restaurant's name and pick it from the results. This is expected behavior, not a bug.
Nearby alerts need both Notifications and Location set to "Always" in your device's Settings app under Grub. Check Settings → Grub → Location, and make sure "Always" is selected rather than "While Using the App."
You can safely ignore it. Nothing about your account changes unless that code is actually entered in the app — no code, no change.
Grub needs an internet connection to save new places and load the latest updates. If you're offline, you'll still see the places you last had loaded, but new saves and edits need a connection to go through.
Open the app, tap the profile icon on the home screen, and choose "Delete account." This permanently removes your account and everything saved to it, and can't be undone.
